The sale cannot be completed unless you agree to the terms. Please note this ordering service is for mainland UK, excluding highlands and islands, and Northern Ireland.

Payments can be made by secure credit or debit card transaction.  We can take payment by Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Delta and Switch. Payments can also be made by PayPal to

Payment will be debited from your account before the dispatch of your purchase. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site.  

Your details will be stored on a computer according to the terms of the Data Protection Act 1984.  We request your name, address and contact details to enable us to provide you with an efficient after-sales service, but we WILL NOT pass your name and address to ANY third parties. 

All goods remain the property of this company until payment is made in full. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before you place an order.  We also reserve the right to refuse to supply goods.  

VAT is charged at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) unless otherwise specified. Our VAT registration number is 601 2861 78.  For deliveries within the EU, VAT is charged unless the customer provides us with a VAT number in writing.  It is your obligation to consider and, if appropriate, account for VAT under the reverse charge procedure. For deliveries outside the EU, no VAT is charged as sales to non-EU countries are classed as exports and the customer is responsible for paying any relevant import duties. 



Delivery within Mainland UK, Excluding Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland: delivery is by Carrier or Royal Mail.  Delivery is free of charge for all orders over £45.00 ex-VAT; for orders of less than £45.00, carriage is £6.50 ex-VAT.   There is no minimum order value. 

Most orders (with the exception of bespoke items) are despatched within 2 working days from receipt of order, by next day carrier (Monday to Friday) or 1st Class post (Monday to Saturday).  Please try to ensure that someone is usually at the delivery address to accept the goods.  If no-one is likely to be in, please give instructions where to leave your parcel, eg in garage, porch, with next-door neighbour.  It really helps if you can give a contact phone number in case our carriers experience problems when locating the address.  If you are out when the goods are delivered you will be left a card giving you details of who to contact for re-delivery or collection from your local depot.  Any goods returned as undeliverable will be held until we receive alternative delivery instructions.  We may need to make additional re-delivery charges.


If goods are urgently required, please specify your deadline when placing your order.  We can also arrange for next day deliveries through our carrier by a guaranteed time or for Saturday deliveries, for an additional charge.  Please contact us for a quote. 


All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.  If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be notified by phone or email and you will be offered an alternative product or given a full refund. 


Delivery for UK Highlands and Islands and Outside Mainland UK

Extra charges may be applicable for deliveries not within mainland UK, and including the following UK postcodes: AB31-56, FK19-21, GY, HS1-9, IM, IV1-28, IV30-32, IV36, IV40-49, IV51-56, IV63, JE, KA27-28, KW1-3, KW5-17, PA20-24, PA26-49, PA60-78, PH1, PH5-10, PH15-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-TR25, ZE1-3.  Please request quote for carriage, before placing your order. 


Replacement of Faulty, Defective or Damaged Goods or Items Sent in Error 

All goods are sent out in secure packaging, however, they can be damaged if roughly handled during transit.  Could you please open up and check goods shortly after receipt of delivery.  We will replace goods damaged in transit, provided we are notified within 24 hours of delivery, either by phone on 01225 480556 or email  We will replace faulty or defective goods, or items sent in error, provided we are notified within 7 days of delivery, either by phone or email, in addition to your statutory rights.   


We will let you know whether faulty, defective or damaged goods, or items sent in error, should be returned to us, either by yourself through your own carrier or Royal Mail, or if we are able to arrange collection through our carrier.  All goods returned must be in their original product/sales packaging materials (if applicable), with a copy of your invoice, and must be securely packed within protective outer packaging material to minimise damage during return transit.  Goods to be collected by our carrier need to be securely packed into one box (where possible).  For faulty, defective or damaged goods, or goods sent in error, we will send a replacement within 14 days unless this is a bespoke product manufactured in Italy.   


Recycled Coloured/Designer Paper: If you are not sure what colours you need and shade or appearance is important, please ask for a sample.  We cannot exchange coloured paper because the colour is not as desired.


All Recycled Paper Products, Including Envelopes, Bags and Packaging Materials: Due to the nature of recycled fibres, there can be substantial colour variations with different batches of paper manufactured.  We are unable to exchange or refund goods because the colour shade is not as desired.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Green and The Green Stationery Company will not pass on any customer or order details on to any third parties, without that person's permission. 


Please read through the policy carefully to make sure you clearly understand how we collect personal information and what we use it for.  The Green Stationery Company is committed to protecting your privacy, and as such, any information you provide to us cannot be seen by un-authorised third parties. 

Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company has a regular cycle of cleansing and refreshing data contained within our customer list to ensure each record is kept up-to-date. Any invalid records are either update or securely deleted.

What kinds of personal information do we collect and how do we use it? 

On our site, we have two areas where we may ask you to submit personal information in order to process an order or to sign you up to our mailing list. Any information which you provide in these forms will be securely stored and will not be viewable or sold to third parties. The personal information we collect on these pages are; name, company name, address, e-mail address and phone number. 

We do not collect any credit or debit card information as this is either processed via Sage Pay Europe Limited's secure internet payment service or keyed straight into our in-house card terminal when orders are phoned through. 
Our website has an SSL certificate to comply with data protection requirements, which means that all transactions and data transfers are encrypted in order to minimise the risk of personal data being intercepted by third parties.

Cookies Information 

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. 

You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to: a. Take and fulfil customer orders b. Administer and enhance the site and service c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes 

Use of Google Analytics 

Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company's website uses Google Analytics, which tracks website data. To do this, Google Analytics uses cookies to monitor how visitors are using the site. We use this data to analyse user activity in order to improve the website. For example, using cookies we can see how long a user spends on a certain page. We are then able to use such analysis to gain insights into how the improve the functionality and user experience of the website. 

Use of Forensics Software 

Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company's websites uses forensic software which collects, processes and stores data relating to businesses and decision makers. These are collected on the basis that the individual is likely to have an interest in a Green Menu shop / Green Stationery Company product. The software will only ever collect, process and store the essential information required for making contact with data subjects within a business environment. The personal data collected includes; first name, last name, e-mail address, social profiles (Linkedin etc.) as well as a business IP address. Other business related data such as business name, job function, turnover and business may address may also be processed. However, the software used on Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company's website does not collect further personal data classed as 'sensitive personal data'. 

The data collected by the software is then used by Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company to communicate marketing and sales messages relating to Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company's products. We will only send messages to those we believe are likely to be interested in Green Menu shop / The Green Stationery Company's products based upon the data obtained by the software. Opting Out

Cancellations Policy 

Goods are not sold on a trial basis. We can be contacted by phone or email to answer any questions or give advice before purchase. It is therefore the responsibility of the customer to place a correct order.


If the customer cancels their order by email, prior to the goods being dispatched, they will have their payment returned within 48 hours. If the customer cancels their order after goods have been dispatched, the refund will not be made until the goods have been returned to the Green Menu . Shop, at the customer's expense.


If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of the dispatch date with a copy of your original invoice (if received), providing it is unopened and received in good condition for re-sale. We will then refund the purchase price of the returned goods.  We reserve the right to charge a handling charge depending upon the nature of the goods returned, usually 20%.  You are responsible for ensuring safe delivery of the returned goods. 

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. 

These Terms and Conditions do not affect consumer statutory rights.
